Oral Appliances

An oral appliance, or mouthpiece, can help some people with sleep apnea or snoring. Typically, a dentist or orthodontist will make a custom-fit piece, as recommended by your doctor, to help treat sleep apnea or snoring.

These mouthpieces adjust your lower jaw and tongue to help open your airways while you sleep.

If you have any discomfort or pain while using an oral appliance, you should tell your doctor. They can help you adjust the device for optimal comfort.
